Stelcam Clips

The Stelcam 5000 series boltable clip offers a technically superior and cost-effective method of attaching light tee rails to crane rail beams. The clip is designed to fit all rail sizes 12, 20, 25, 30, 40, 60 lb./yd. Due to the elimination of lateral rail movement and the resilient action of the rubber nose, Stelcam clips offer several advantages over standard rail clips and hook bolts.

General Characteristics

The Stelcam clip consists of two interacting components which allow easy lateral rail adjustment and once correctly installed, are self-locking. A controlled vertical force is applied to the rail-base through a synthetic rubber "nose" which is vulcanize-bonded to the appropriate clip component.

	Installation Instructions Position clip on bolt Position cam wash and lightly tighten nut Strike came washer with hammer to adjust clip forward so that clip is tight against edge of rail base Tighten nut to require torque (see table below)

Caution:

Clips shall be installed in opposing pairs (normally spaced two fee apart) and shall never be staggered. If clips are not properly adjusted as described above, they will loosen.
