SPIKESTrack spikes are manufactured to AREMA speci˜cations in both soft steel and high carbon varieties. In addition, good quality industrial grade spikes are stocked in the larger spike sizes. Industrial grade spikes are not guaranteed to meet AREMA speci˜cations and may exceed AREMA dimensional tolerances. Although they generally will not work in automatic spiking machines, they are very popular with customers who do not use these machines. Top quality second-hand 5/8 inches x 6 inches track spikes (hand-sorted into drums) are readily available and offer a substantial savings when compared to the cost of new track spikes.Boat spikes are available both galvanized and fiblack."
